Core Service Categories for CaPROMISE
There are five core categories of services that will be provided in the CaPROMISE program to help SSI youth and their families achieve the key program outcomes.
These categories are:
Service Category 1: Case Management/Transition Planning
Case management services includes, but is not limited to:
- ID Needed Services
- Coordinate Services
- Transition-Focused Assessment
- School Based Activities
- Person Driven Planning
Service Category 2: Financial Planning and Benefits Management
Financial planning and benefits counseling for independence includes, but is not limited to:
- Wage Reporting
- Work Incentives
- Benefits Planning
- Financial Planning
Service Category 3: Career and Work-Based Learning Experiences
Career and work-based learning experiences includes, but is not limited to:
- Employment Preparation Activities
- Career Related Training & Education
- Volunteer Work
- Unpaid Work Experience
- Paid Work Experience
- Employment
Service Category 4: Parent/Guardian Training and Information
Parent training and information includes, but is not limited to:
- Referral
- Coaching
- Family Resource Center Support
Service Category 5: Other Services and Supports
Other services and supports include, but are not limited to:
- Youth Development Activities
- Extended & Experiential Learning
- Self Determination Skills
- Health & Wellness
- Behavior Management
- Technology Training
- Independent Living Activities
